01 — The Problem

THE MONITOR STAYS AT THE HOSPITAL. THE RISK DOESN'T.

Fetal hypoxia develops silently, with no symptoms the mother can feel. Hospitals already handle high-risk cases with great care — what's missing is continuity between one visit and the next.

01 / 03
30%
High-risk pregnancies
in Western markets

Nearly 1 in 3 pregnancies in developed countries is classified as high-risk — driven by maternal age, BMI, hypertension, diabetes, prior loss or ART. Yet no device exists for continuous fetal monitoring at home.

02 / 03
7–14
Days between check-ups
where signals shift unseen

Fetal heart monitoring only happens during hospital visits or labour. Between appointments, the rest of gestation is a clinical blind spot.

03 / 03
24/7
Continuous monitoring high-risk pregnancies need
with no home solution today

Wearables track the mother's steps, sleep and heart rate — but nothing continuously monitors the baby between appointments. Expectant mothers go home with no way to know.

02 — The Solution

CLINICAL
GRADE.
AT HOME.

Expectant mother wearing the Embryo patch at home

A wearable circular array of ECG sensors on the maternal abdomen continuously captures fetal heart signals, turning them into clinically interpretable data — accessible remotely by healthcare professionals.

01

Circular ECG sensor array

A multi-electrode array placed on the maternal abdomen captures fetal electrocardiographic signals, regardless of fetal position or maternal movement.

02

Fetal signal extraction

Advanced algorithms separate fetal from maternal ECG signals, isolating the fetal heart trace with clinical-grade accuracy.

03

Continuous home monitoring

24/7 fetal heart monitoring outside the hospital. The mother carries on with her daily activities — no need to stay seated or immobile.

04

Connected clinical platform

Fetal data is transmitted to EmbryoMonitor, a cloud platform where healthcare professionals remotely review trends and receive alerts.

05

Early distress detection

Clinically interpretable indicators — heart-rate variability, rhythm patterns — help detect early signs of fetal hypoxia. Every alert is reviewed by a professional before it reaches the mother. No false alarms.

06

Medical-grade by design

Embryo is being developed as a medical device from day one, with CE marking as the target regulatory pathway. Clinical validation and certification are core milestones on our roadmap.

Technical documentation available under NDA for qualified investors and partners.

03 — The Object

NOT TO HIDE. TO SHINE.

Embryo isn't something to hide under your shirt. It's something to wear because you're proud to be expecting — a personal object, not a clinical kit.

EmbryoMonitor — connected clinical software for fetal monitoring

EmbryoMonitor — the other half of the product.

A single telemedicine platform for continuous fetal monitoring and trace review, with AI-supported, inspectable diagnosis — no black box.
